Violence flares in Brazil following anti-government protests

Police and anti-government demonstrators have clashed on the streets of Rio de Janeiro after nationwide protests.

Frustration among the people began after pension reforms and budget cuts made by the government of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.

Riot police fired tear gas and blast bombs at thousands of protesters marching through the city after anarchists attacked security forces with fireworks.
