Democrats in the House of Representatives have moved a step closer to impeaching Donald Trump after winning a key vote.
It is the first formal test of support for the impeachment process, which began following a phone call between Mr Trump and Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in July.
The House, which is controlled by the Democrats, voted by 232 to 196 to establish how to hold public hearings in Congress.
