The cause of Europe’s snow chaos

At least 26 people have died in Europe since the beginning of the year – in avalanches and accidents related to the record snowfalls on the continent.

In the latest incident, three men were killed in an avalanche near an Austrian ski resort. A fourth person is still missing.
