Saving Sea Turtles in the Solomon Islands | Short Film Showcase

The Arnavon Islands are an important nesting site for the endangered hawksbill and green sea turtle species. Thanks to the efforts of The Nature Conservancy and local communities, the number of nesting sea turtles has doubled in the past 20 years. To aid in the process, conservation monitors protect the turtles’ nests from predation. Watch newly hatched turtles make their way to the sea in this inspiring video from Seedlight Pictures.
