The beautifully tiled and vaulted tunnel, designed by Victorian craftsmen, once connected a train station to the ornate Crystal Palace in London. The subway fell into disuse after the building was destroyed by fire in 1936. Now groups are beginning to let the public get a glimpse of this hidden gem.
