While everyone is losing their mind over whether the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X is going to be the better console, we know that what’s on the specs sheet doesn’t make or break a console; games do. So let’s switch things up and take a look at how exclusive games will make a difference in the next generation console war.
It’s no secret that the PS5 has one of the most incredible SSDs we’ve ever seen in a console. Well, actually, it might be the best SSD we’ve ever seen, period. It has incredible speeds of up to 5.5GB/s, which is much higher than the Xbox Series X’s 2.4GB/s. This means that loading times will be blazing fast on PS5, so open world and adventure games will excel on the system. As for the Xbox Series X, it’s the more powerful console so Microsoft will have to take advantage of that. Developers should create massive worlds and make sure their games run at 120 fps as opposed to 60 fps. The Series X could even take advantage of those 12 teraflops and make games more beautiful on the console than the PS5.
