Myanmar: Aung San Suu Kyi appears at genocide hearing

Myanmar’s leader Aung San Suu Kyi has appeared at the International Court of Justice to defend the country against allegations of genocide, 18 years after she won the Nobel Peace Prize.

The prosecution claims Myanmar’s military has killed thousands of Rohingya Muslims and forced almost 750,000 from their homes since 2016.
