Labour: “We’re not going to countenance an election until no-deal is off the table”

Labour is ‘desperate’ for a general election but says it must not happen before an extension by the European Union is confirmed according to its shadow health secretary.

The party’s position in election polls so far is “not great for Labour” Jon Ashworth admitted to Sophy Ridge as one poll showed a 14-point-lead for the government.
