Ashleigh’s recipe uses a variety of soaked dried beans, plus flavorful country ham, onions, and seasonings. As the beans and greens cook, Ashleigh makes a quick cornbread dough with hot water to fry in a skillet. The final result is a versatile dish that comes together with whatever’s in the pantry.
