The Marvel Cinematic Universe is absolutely CRAMMED with fun Easter Eggs and details – and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has a ton! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6
It really does go without saying these days that Marvel Cinematic Universe movies – and indeed all comic book movies in general – are packed to the rafters with Easter eggs, references and details that aren’t particularly easy for fans to spot. 2017’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was certainly no different.
In fact, given that pop culture fanatic James Gunn was directing it, it’s probably fair to say that it contained more fun inclusions than most movies. In this video, we’ll take a look at ten of them that you probably missed. Those ten things are; that a gadget Peter Quill was using was actually a modified Mattel Football game, that the planet Berhert actually has some major significance in the comics, that the planet Contraxia also has some major significance in the comics, that some Kronans (Korg from Thor: Ragnarok’s race) were seen in the “space-jump” scene, that when Peter Quill referenced “Eternity” he was actually talking about a living being, that Peter’s Grandfather appeared in one of the present-day scenes on Earth, that Simon Williams AKA Wonder Man was referenced on posters in a deleted scene, that the Troll doll from the first movie reappeared with an emotional meaning, that Krugarr used the same Eldritch magic as Doctor Strange, and that the movie’s credits were one big Easter egg.
We hope you enjoy the video. Don’t forget to comment letting us know what you thought of it! And please subscribe to our channel so you never miss our great new videos in the future.
