Goats are naturally curious and may head-butt anything that piques their interest. It’s unlikely the goat was attacking its own reflection. Goats see best from their peripherals rather than straight ahead. The goat was a part of a group that likely escaped from a nearby farm. By the time police arrived at the scene, they had already fled.
