Gamers have done some pretty bad things since…well, video games have been a thing. We all had that friend who screen peeked and exploited the game to no end just to win. Now that professional gaming, also known as eSports, has taken off, absolutely nothing has changed. Not a single thing. Gamers still continue to do whatever they want to win, even going as far as breaking the rules professional leagues have in place. Some of these rules are absolutely ridiculous, like not being able to wear hats, while others make just a bit more sense. Still, we’ve seen gamers get kicked out of professional tournaments for breaking the rules in the most interesting ways and that’s exactly what we’re going to talk about, right now.
The number one rule all professional gamers should follow is to take a shower. Seriously, some pro gamers were purposely not showering so they could distract their opponents with their scent and get them off their game. All we could do is shake our head at whoever came up with this tactic. Luckily, proper hygiene is becoming a rule at gaming events, so if this turned you off of the pro scene, there’s no need to worry anymore.
