Far Cry 5 is the latest installment of the popular sandbox franchise and there’s no game quite like it on the market. In what other game can you hunt bears, fish for trout, break necks and blow up everything in sight? The game pushed boundaries by focusing on a religious cult in rural America, but in the end, it doesn’t try to make any political statements by diving too deep into their beliefs. Far Cry 5 does it all and doesn’t care who it offends in the process. While it’s taking the gaming world by storm, there are some lesser known facts all gamers should know about Far Cry 5.
The Far Cry franchise has never been known for character customization, but that all changes in Far Cry 5 where you have the option to play as either a male or female character. Co-op was a huge addition to Far Cry 4, but it was only limited to side missions and free roaming. In Far Cry 5, the whole campaign can be played in co-op. The rosters in the game have been expanded to include ground units, air support and even animals like bears, cougars and dogs can fight by your side. There are so many vehicles to choose from in Far Cry 5 including fighter planes, attack helicopters and all-American muscle cars.
