One of the most memorable and disturbing revelations from Sky’s Ocean Rescue campaign was that scientists had found a dying whale stranded in shallow waters off the coast of Norway with 30 plastic bags in its stomach.
Around 100 people from the UK and a dozen other countries, who have been inspired by the film, are going to Norway for a ‘nations united’ clean-up of huge piles of plastic deposited there by the Gulf Stream.
