Day 5 Recap. Today’s work consisted of adding all the necessary fluids- motor oil, gear lube, power steering fluid, and coolant. Since Gearstar ships their transmissions full of fluid, all the crew needed to do to it was top it off. They also installed and wired in the new Dakota Digital gauges, installed the power steering lines, and added a new Lokar throttle cable and transmission dipstick. Day Four Recap. The team knocked out a big chunk of work today, and the 1969 Chevelle is that much closer to running with a new drivetrain: an LS3 from Gandrud Chevrolet, a 4L60E from Gearstar, and a Strange Engineering S60 with an Eaton Posi differential.
