Tribute to James Horner – 8 Bit Cinema

We were saddened to hear of the passing of James Horner last week. His music brought some of our favorite movies to life, from Aliens, to Apollo 13, Titanic to The Rocketeer. We here at 8-Bit decided to re-visit some of our favorites. Subscribe to CineFix – http://goo.gl/9AGRm

We decided to honor him in the way we honor so many of our favorite movies: By giving some of his most iconic compositions the 8-Bit treatment. (Okay, we were pretty liberal with the 16-Bit graphics this time around. But James Horner deserved some extra graphics love!) We think this is especially fitting since the 8-Bit team first experienced Horner’s music on another bit of vintage tech: the casette tape.
