Six people including a police officer are killed during a gun battle at a Jewish supermarket in New Jersey.
Among those killed was a police detective who was investigating a murder in Jersey City when he approached two suspects, one of whom opened fire and shot him in the head.
The local mayor says its believed to have been a targeted attack.
