In 2019’s Avengers 4 movie, the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will attempt to undo the actions of Thanos in this year’s epic Avengers: Infinity War.
The prune-chinned Mad Titan collected all six of the powerful Infinity Stones before using them to erase half of all life in the universe by simply snapping his fingers.
By the time Avengers 4 comes to a conclusion, Thanos will surely be defeated – and as the MCU ventures into a new era, another villain will need to take over him as the franchise’s new “big-bad”.
In this video, we’ll be looking at the theory that none other than Norman Osborn will be that new big-bad.
Osborn has appeared in two live action Spider-Man franchises to date (played by Willem Dafoe and Chris Cooper, respectively), but he’d surely be welcomed with open arms by fans to the MCU, given what he could offer with so many other heroes to torment (he’s far more than just a Spider-Man villain in the comics).
There has actually been some evidence that Osborn is coming to the MCU – and we’ll go into more detail regarding that evidence here (believe it or not, the main evidence came in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok – which will undoubtedly surprise you if you’re not familiar with Marvel’s comic books!).
