Qatar and Senegal squared off in the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. There was a controversial no call in the first half when Salem Al-Hajri took contact in the box but he wasn’t given a foul. Boulaye Dia kicked off the scoring for Senegal and netted a goal in the 41st minute. Senegal wasn’t done there as Famara Diedhiou put in a header in the 48th minute.
