As the least expensive model in the Kia lineup, the Rio has also played a pretty important role for the brand. Some may remember the Rio as their very first car, either leaving a good or not so good first impression. Throughout the years, the Rio started to get slightly nicer with fully loaded models approaching compact car levels.
