Tuner GP is back with a new name and new focus. The european car Magazine 2.0T Tuner GP Presented by Continental Tire set out to pit street-tuned European cars that came with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine or smaller from the factory on the 1.6-mile, 14-turn road course at Streets of Willow Springs and on the wind tunnel dynamometer at World Motorsports. The challenge drew some of the finest street-level Volkswagen and Audi – GTI, Golf R, S3 and others – and all were outfitted with a set of Continental’s new Ultra High Performance (UHP) ExtremeContact Sport tires.
