In this special episode of D3Live I give an overview of the recent iPhone 4 press conference where Steve Jobs took the stage to discuss the iPhone 4 reception issues (aka the ‘death grip’). For the most part he admitted there was a problem but that it is one that other smartphones have and that the recent iOS 4.0.1 update should help. In addition he announced that starting next week and running through September 30th Apple will be giving away free Bumper cases as well as some select third party cases to iPhone 4 owners. If you have already bought a Bumper you also will be able to get a refund so that’s certainly good news. It’s not a perfect solution but having a case on the phone should help considerably....
