As if these movies weren’t terrifying enough, gruesome scenes were actually cut from them! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6
Some love horror, some can’t stand to be made to jump in fear. Whatever category you find yourself in, it’s hard to deny the impact of these movies on pop culture, and something keeps audiences coming back for more. While every movie has a deleted scene or two, sometimes scenes get left out of horror movies because they’re just too disturbing. From the complete assault of Event Horizon, to an unspeakable act in the 2017 update of It. In From Beyond eyeballs are a meal, and scenes so unspeakable that projectionists took scissors to The Last House On The Left. There’s a kidnapping in Hostel, some eye gouging in The Hills Have Eyes, corrupt cops in Cabin Fever, a violent end to Paranormal Activity, and the mauling of a little boy in Jaws that just couldn’t be included in the final cut. The terrible wounds of Stigmata, an alien assimilation that was too costly for The Thing, two cocoon incidents’ in Alien and Aliens, and some gentle piranhas cut out of Cannibal Holocaust. From a confusing and creepy ending to The Butterfly Effect, a cross-breeding nightmare in The Fly, a missed and bloody Rosario Dawson cameo in The Devil’s Rejects, and a somehow too gruesome scene cut from A Serbian Film. Scream 4 could have started differently, and Rings might have fared better with a creepy cutaway. Whether or not these scenes would have helped or hurt their finished products is a question that only the filmmakers could possibly know.
