Some of the most beloved movies in cinematic history are actually… well… they’re actually pretty terrible!
Having initially been heavily criticised when they were released, opinions of some of those terrible movies have improved over the years – and they’ve developed something of a cult following as a result.

Movies like these are known as cult classics – and in this video, we’ll take you through ten great examples in chronological order, starting with a release from 1968 and ending with one from 2004.

The movies in question are; the sexy science fiction movie Barbarella (1968), the action thriller movie The Warriors (1979), the erotic historical drama Caligula (1979), the science fiction horror movie C.H.U.D. (1984), the martial arts movie Bloodsport (1988), the science fiction comedy buddy movie Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989), the science fiction comic book movie Tank Girl (1995), the absolutely horrendous surrealist black comedy movie Freddy Got Fingered (2001) – seriously, how the hell has that become a cult classic? For goodness sake! – the drama movie The Room (2003) and the extremely extremely surreal comedy Napoleon Dynamite (2004).
We hope you enjoy the video! Please make a point of leaving a comment underneath the video to let us know what you thought of it! For example, are there any other terrible movies that became cult classics that we definitely should have included here? Tell us!
