The Fast and The Furious films are some of the most popular and beloved films on the planet. With every entry, the franchise seems to become more and more unstoppable. Which is a testament to its ability to please crowds because it sure isn’t winning anyone over with it’s writing, mainly the gaping plot holes in it. Seriously, you can drive a Skyline through these plot holes. Some have to do with time, such as Jason Statham’s time traveling in Furious 7 or the fact that Tokyo Drift takes place in 2006, when the following three movies seem to take place in the early 2010s. Brian, played by the late Paul Walker, was apparently a psychic in the six film and was able to save his car without seeing the threat. Speaking of the sixth film, we’ll get into the math behind that runway scene. It’s apparently really huge. But not as huge as the hole in Dom’s family, namely the curious case of the mission Leon. Leon’s gone, but Vince came back in Fast Five, which saw them undergo an unnecessary heist in not-Brazil. Fate of the Furious was the most 007 Fast film to date, complete with it’s own villain lair that makes no sense and the use of cars as shields against missiles. In Tokyo Drift, an American high schooler tells a Yakuza Boss what to do and lives while Michelle Rodriguez’ Letty seems to have lost her moral compass when she lost her memory.
